You can join the 1st of any month. However, all employers must renew on October 1st each year.

WFBH requires that a minimum of 75% of eligible employees participate in the plan. Eligible is defined as those employees that have met any probationary periods and work the minimum hours per week set by the employer.
In order to figure out the pricing, each potential customer needs to work with a health insurance broker to get a quote that is based on many factors. There is no set list of pricing.
With a copay, the insurance company agrees to pay for a service, but you must cover a preset cost, such as $30. This cost applies every time you schedule a service that has an assigned copay.
A deductible is the amount of money that you are required to pay before your insurance begins to cover services. Normally, you will either need to meet a deductible or pay a copay amount.
WFBH policies have coinsurance, which requires you to pay a certain percentage of services rendered.
Yes! Children up to age 26 can stay on their parents’ plan.
No, the business doesn’t need to be a member to receive a quote. However, they must sign up for membership if they decide to participate in the health plan.
WFBH requires that all participating employers purchase a medical plan. Life insurance in the amount of $10,000 is included in the medical plan. There are additional buy-up options for life insurance. Dental and vision plans are also available and can be offered alongside the medical plan.

Rehn & Associates, located in Spokane, is the third-party administrator for WA Farm Bureau Healthcare. They handle invoicing, enrollment, and COBRA administration (at no additional cost) for WFBH.
Billing & Administration FAQ
The most convenient was is to enroll into Automatic ACH Withdrawal where the Trust initiates an ACH withdrawal on the first business day of the month pull out of your account on the second business day of the month. Please contact [email protected] for the necessary forms.
We also accept payment via check. Please note, we unfortunately cannot accept payments over the phone or online at this time.
Invoices will be mailed around the 15th of the month prior to the coverage month (for example, mailed January 15th for February coverage). Payment is due by the 1st of the coverage month.
The WFBH Trust does have a policy that requires late fees to be assessed to premiums that are late. Payments received after the 5th of the coverage month are considered late, and payments received after the 10th of the coverage month will be subject to late fees. Based on billing cycles, you may see a lag month between your late payment and when your fee will reflect on your invoice.
Our office transmits eligibility files every Tuesday and Thursday. All eligibility changes made between files is automatically included on the next file submission.
Cards are typically mailed within 5-7 business days of the file transfer the enrollment was sent on.
